The UNIMAS alumni seeks to foster friendships and continual contact among graduates of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. Beginning from the first convocation in 1997 to 2006, UNIMAS has produced 7,284 graduates whereby most of them have been successful in their own respective fields. For this purpose an action committee was formed with the goal of registering the UNIMAS Alumni as a proper body with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and to officially launch it during the 8th UNIMAS Convocation.
